Out and About with Multiples
Places to go
Preschool Adventures is a summer program that brings local moms and their preschool age children (Dads are welcome too!) together with others to see and explore the “people and places in our neighborhood.” Preschool Adventure groups meet once each week to visit a variety of local businesses and attractions and are provided a behind-the-scenes, interactive tour of places like the local fire station, post office, dairy farm, ice cream parlor, animal hospital, pizzeria, library, grocery store, Mexican restaurant, car wash and more!
Preschool Adventure programs are designed with little ones in mind and allows preschool-age children to take part in community-based field trips and learning experiences in everyday settings. The programs also allow moms/dads the opportunity to meet and connect with other local parents of preschoolers.
More than 200 local preschoolers were enrolled in Preschool Adventures last summer with more than 40 East Cobb/Marietta businesses and service organizations participating. Due to astounding interest in the East Cobb area among parents and local businesses alike, Preschool Adventures is now offering programs in Sandy Springs/Dunwoody, Roswell/Alpharetta, Smyrna/Vinings & Kennesaw/Austell.
Thank you in advance for sharing the information with other moms! Please don’t hesitate to call should you have questions or need more information. I too am a local mom – not of multiples – but of four children, ages 7, 5, 4 and 1 ½.
